Job Title: Permanent-Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location: Norfolk, VA, 23504

Payrate: $40/hourly

Duration: Permanent

"Your pay is based on whether you are in a local or travel position. A travel position is defined as residing more than 50 miles from the facility."

Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients' ability to perform daily activities.
• Use therapeutic techniques and modalities to enhance patients' motor skills, coordination, and sensory processing.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and adaptive techniques.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress, treatment outcomes, and modifications to care plans.
• Maintain and manage occupational therapy equipment and materials.

Requirements:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Previous experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong assessment, clinical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
