The New Castle County Office of Law is seeking applicants for the position of Part-Time Attorney, working 25 hours per week. The Office of Law currently has 16 full-time attorneys working in a collegial environment. The work of the Office of Law involves varied legal fields, including civil litigation, contractual transactions, representing and appearing before County administrative bodies, land use, public works, employment and labor, civil and criminal code enforcement, and finance. For the current opening, three years of litigation experience is preferred. Experience with litigation involving personal injury claims, workers compensation, or police constitutional violations is a plus.
