About the Role:

As a Painter for Navarino Property Management, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal and value of properties. Your primary responsibility will be to apply paint, finishes, and coatings to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality results that meet industry standards. You will collaborate closely with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure that painting tasks are completed on time and within budget. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety will be paramount as you work in diverse environments, from residential homes to commercial buildings. Ultimately, your work will contribute significantly to the overall success and visual impact of our real estate projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a painter in a professional setting.
• Knowledge of painting techniques and materials.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in painting or a related field.
• Experience with drywall installation and repair.
• Familiarity with carpentry and fiberglass applications.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
• Select and mix paints and finishes according to specifications and project requirements.
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
• Inspect completed work for quality and make necessary touch-ups or corrections.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and adhere to safety protocols.

Skills:

The required skills such as painting and manual dexterity are essential for executing precise and high-quality finishes on various surfaces. Your ability to work with tools like table saws and spray painting equipment will enable you to efficiently complete tasks while ensuring safety and accuracy. Depth perception is crucial when assessing the application of paint and finishes, allowing you to achieve a flawless look.
