Nephrology - Physician Opportunity

This role is for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Nephrologist within our organization, located in Indianapolis. The position focuses on delivering specialized treatment for kidney diseases such as Acute Kidney Injury (AKI), Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), and End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). Key responsibilities encompass both inpatient and outpatient care, dialysis outreach, mentoring medical residents and fellows, along with potential research involvement. The position offers a well-structured schedule with shared on-call duties and visa sponsorship for qualified candidates.

Become a part of our supportive, professional, and empathetic nephrology team in Indianapolis. We are looking for a dedicated General Nephrologist to provide essential care to patients facing various kidney-related challenges.

Position Details:

• Enjoy a healthy work-life balance with a standard schedule and shared on-call responsibilities among the nephrology team.
• Provide a mix of inpatient and outpatient care at Eskenazi, with occasional rounds at AHC.
  • Care for patients with AKI, CKD, ESRD, and other kidney-related conditions.
• Weekend duties will be at either Eskenazi or AHC.
• Engage in dialysis and clinic outreach in surrounding suburban areas.
• Hold a faculty position with the Indiana University School of Medicine, with responsibilities to educate and supervise residents and fellows, along with available research opportunities if desired.

Qualifications:

• Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology.
• Completion of an Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology fellowship is required.
• Both new graduates and seasoned physicians are encouraged to apply.
• Must possess an MD/DO and be licensed or eligible for licensure in Indiana.
• Visa sponsorship is available; H1B only.
