Description This associate will collaborate with various departments across the organization and will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies and brand management.
As the primary Marketing contact for GEM Inc. and GEM Service, this associate will collaborate with all GEM specialty contractor teams to support Project Managers and Business Development in showcasing our full range of services to new and existing clients. Additionally, they will work closely with the Rudolph Libbe Group Marketing team to coordinate efforts and highlight the combined value of our services across all company divisions and locations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - Support and implement customer relationship building programs to build brand awareness, leverage equity and increase product/service growth.
- Support and enhance the development of sales/marketing presentations, digital strategy, and marketing initiatives to support business development efforts; assist with business proposal materials as needed.
- Create and manage new lead generation efforts.
- Manage both digital and print advertising, marketing and sales campaigns.
- Manage ongoing branding strategy and implementation.
- Budget administration including processing of invoices and monthly reporting.
- Assist business development team with marketing project requests.
- Develop case studies and other marketing materials, then organize and house them in a way to support confidence and ease of use by the business development team.
SKILLS - Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills are required. Experience writing case studies is a plus.
- Experience using Adobe software suite - especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
- Bonus for experience in video creation including script writing, working with clients/partners for testimonials, directing video and/or professional photography
- Ability to learn what the customer values and lead a team to develop the appropriate marketing strategy, messages and tools.
- Manage outside agency and vendor relationships.
- Must be comfortable making a presentation to an audience and managing relationship stakeholders.
- Be genuine and creative. Offer ideas and options. Receive feedback well.
- Have a service attitude and do what needs to get done - no matter your role.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE - Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design or a related field.
- 6+ or more years' experience in a senior marketing or senior design role on either the client or client-service side.
- Experience in supporting a brand guide and managing rolling changes to brand standards is desired.
