Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer - Welding Pay Rate: $35.00-45.00/hour Location: Windsor, CT 06095 (onsite) Area Code: 860, 203, 413 Shifts: 1st Full Time, Full Benefits #manufacturingengineering #welding #NX Job Overview We are seeking skilled Manufacturing Engineers with a solid foundation in engineering principles and expertise in fusion welding to join our team. This role focuses on improving efficiency, quality, and process documentation for fabrications, assembly, and welding projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine process work instructions for manufacturing, with an emphasis on sheet assemblies and fusion welding.
• Collaborate with shop floor personnel to validate processes, ensuring updates are accurate and effective.
• Report project progress in daily tier meetings and maintain active communication with the Lead Engineer.
• Identify and implement cost reduction strategies, including tooling updates and process improvements.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on enhancing both efficiency and product quality.

Core Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor"s degree in engineering, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 1-5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a preference for candidates experienced in aerospace and fusion welding of aluminum alloys.
• Proficiency in creating work instructions, with experience using Solumina preferred.
• Familiarity with CAD software (preferably NX) for creating models, drawings, and ops sheets.
• U.S. Citizenship required due to the nature of the work.

Desired Other Skills:

• Familiarity with SAP, Team Center.
• Experience with LabView programming is a plus.
