Our client, a local truss manufacturer is seeking a General Laborer to join their team. As a General Laborer, you will be part of a team responsible for safely handling lumber products. The ideal candidate will be safety conscious, punctual, and reliable which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: General Laborer Location: Folkston, GA Pay Rate: $15.00/hour What’s the Job? Stacks finished products according to predetermined bundle sizes and/or customer requirements. Labels materials (lumber) by type,size and count. Moves, bands, bundles, and secures lumber products and other materials. Ensures correct quantities and material are strapped and labeled before leaving work area. Maintains accurate inventory of tags and records production on production sheets. What’s Needed? Manufacturing or lumber experience preferred. Working knowledge of basic math. Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to read a tape measure and moisture meter. Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently and stand for 9 hours What’s in it for me?
