About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable
live-in caregiver to provide personalized care for a
female client with dementia in Fredericksburg, VA. The ideal caregiver will be patient, attentive, and dedicated to supporting the clients daily needs while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor the clients well-being and provide companionship.
- Support memory care routines and engage in activities appropriate for dementia care.
- Assist with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
- Communicate any changes in health or behavior to family or supervising staff.
Qualifications
- Experience caring for individuals with dementia or memory impairments preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the clients needs.
- Ability to live on-site and provide consistent care.
- Reliable and trustworthy with strong communication skills.
