Litigation Associate - Charlotte, NC (Remote)

About the Opportunity

A well-established law firm seeks a highly motivated and experienced litigation associate to join its growing Charlotte, NC team. This is a remote position, offering flexibility with the ability to work from home.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop winning litigation strategies.
• Prepare for and conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials, with a proven track record of courtroom success.
• Maintain excellent communication and collaboration skills, effectively interacting with clients, opposing counsel, and the firm's legal team.
• Stay up-to-date on relevant legal developments and case law in North Carolina.
• Manage deadlines and adhere to strict ethical guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in civil litigation.
• Admitted to the North Carolina Bar, in good standing.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex legal matters to clients and the court.
• Superior time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a diverse caseload while meeting deadlines.
• Proficient in legal research databases and case management software.
• Experience in bankruptcy law is a plus.
