UNIT DESCRIPTION: Our team is comprised of experienced LNAs who float between different units as the census and staffing needs arise. As a department, we support 21 different units ranging from Medical-Surgical, Cardiology/Telemetry, and Critical Care to Maternal Child units. You’ll find yourself using your broad range of skills and depth of experience on a variety of inpatient units.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Licensed Nurse Assistant is responsible for specific aspects of direct and indirect patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to): taking vital signs, responding to call lights, Electronic Medical Record documentation, personal care, including bathing, mouth care, toileting and skin care.

Our ideal candidates will be reliable, flexible, compassionate and empathetic. Must have a strong sense of teamwork and a focus on providing the best possible care to our patients. Extraordinary time management is a must on our fast-paced inpatient units.

Full-time positions are eligible for a $5,000 sign on bonus. Please note that current University of Vermont Health Network employees are excluded from eligibility for this bonus. Additional terms and conditions apply.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1 year of hospital and/or nursing home LNA experience required.

EDUCATION: High School diploma or GED preferred. LNA, licensed in Vermont.
