Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $145,000.00/yr Position Summary This role involves planning, organizing, and directing survey work to determine precise locations and measurements for various projects. The candidate will promote safe work practices, evaluate staff progress, and represent the company in meetings with clients. Note: This position is not eligible for employer-based sponsorship except for TN visas. Responsibilities Assemble field data, perform survey calculations, prepare legal descriptions. Manage multiple field crews. Ensure quality control and assurance on projects. Monitor project budgets and billing. Manage client relationships on projects. Drive business development within the discipline. Lead and develop team members through leadership and performance management. Required Experience Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills. High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of survey plan preparation using Inroads/MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D. 10+ years of surveying experience. Licensed Professional Land Surveyor. Familiarity with subsurface utility designating and locating preferred. Knowledge of relevant surveying regulations. Experience with aerial mapping, LiDAR, and sUAS is a plus. Working Conditions Office work 95% of the time; fieldwork occasionally required in various weather conditions. Some lifting may be needed. Skills and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Survey plan preparation knowledge. 10+ years of experience. Licensed Professional Land Surveyor. Understanding of surveying regulations. Preferred Skills Experience with subsurface utility locating. Experience with aerial mapping, LiDAR, and sUAS.
