What you will typically be responsible for: - Providing direct public service to all users of a branch or Main Library unit, modeling trauma-informed and relevant customer service and information-seeking skills.
- Utilizing technology to assist patrons, including retrieving, inputting and, processing information; track, inform and maintain the efficacy of general circulation and library services.
- Assisting professional Librarian staff with the administration of outreach and programming initiatives

Education and Experience: Qualifying education and experience must equal a total of four years (full-time) which may be satisfied by one of the following options (or the equivalent):
A Bachelor's degree or four (4) years of full-time coursework from an accredited college or university.
OR
An Associate's degree or two (2) years of full-time coursework or Library Information/ Technology Certificate from an accredited college or university AND two (2) years of experience performing technical, customer service, administrative, and/or paraprofessional support duties in a library setting.
OR
Four (4) years of experience performing technical, customer service, administrative, and/or paraprofessional support duties in a library setting.
Desirable Qualifications: - Experience working in a library setting
- Experience working with youth
- Bilingual skills
