Job Description

*****LHC LOGISTICS is looking to hire SEASONAL LAST MILE/CARGO VAN - PACKAGE DELIVERY DRIVERS *****

We are hiring full and part-time delivery driver positions to deliver Amazon packages from 2 Amazon Stations In Kearny NJ and in Newark NJ.

Shifts are daily from 11:00 AM to approx. 9:30PM (approx. 8 - 10 hour delivery days)

*Times may vary depending on your assigned route for the day or delivery station. 

• Full Time positions - 4 days per week (over 25 hours)
• Part Time positions - 2-3 days per week (under 24 hours)

*Must be available and willing to work 1 weekend day with either position

* Additional shifts may be offered upon availability

Our hourly rate starts at $22.75 per hour PAY is WEEKLY!!

Job Requirements:

• Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.
• Must have 1 year of cargo van driving/delivery experience (CDL not required)
• Use hand held devices for routing information, customer delivery information.
• Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area.
• Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions. Load and unload packages to be delivered.
• 100% CUSTOMER ORIENTED!!
• Must be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to maneuver a hand truck, if one is accessible.
• Must be at least 23 years old
• Have a Valid and Clean Driver's License for a minimum of 3 years.
• No accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA
• Must have a working cell phone

Qualifications

As a Delivery Driver, You’ll Need:

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Valid work authorization documents(if required)
• Ability to lift and carry heavy packages
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Have a working personal cell phone.
