Description
As a Landscape Designer, you'll be responsible for the entire design-build process, from initial client consultations and sales to creating stunning CAD designs and collaborating with our crew to bring your vision to life. You'll leverage your expertise in plants, sod, and masonry to craft exceptional landscapes for both residential and commercial properties.
Primary Responsibilities: - Conduct consultations with potential clients to understand their needs, budget, and vision for their outdoor space.
- Develop and present creative and functional landscape design proposals using CAD software.
- Manage the sales process, closing deals for residential and commercial landscape projects.
- Oversee project installation, collaborating with the crew to ensure designs are executed flawlessly.
- Source and manage materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Possess a deep knowledge of plants, sod, and masonry materials to ensure optimal selections for each project.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Maintain strong product knowledge to effectively recommend solutions and materials.
- Manage project timelines efficiently, ensuring timely completion within budget.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape design and construction.
- Proven success in residential and commercial landscape design sales.
- Proficiency in CAD software for landscape design.
- Extensive knowledge of plants, including their characteristics, growth patterns, and suitability for various climates.
- Expertise in sod installation and maintenance.
- Solid understanding of masonry principles and materials.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Strong product management skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Practical time management skills to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with Microsoft Suites (MS Teams, Outlook)
- Valid Texas driver's license.

- Occasional: sitting, lifting, shoveling, carrying objects up to 60 lbs
Driver's Responsibilities: - Operates a company vehicle safely and efficiently, following pre-assigned daily routes.
- Assumes responsibility for basic vehicle maintenance, including tire condition, replacement, brake checks, and timely oil changes.
- Maintains strict adherence to all safety protocols and relevant driving regulations, reporting any work-related injuries immediately to designated supervisors.
- Complies with established company vehicle usage policies and upholds a clean driving record.
- Promptly reports any auto accidents to the Service Manager within one hour of occurrence.
- Maintains an active Texas driver's license and provides updated copies to Human Resources
Salary: - $45,000 - $50,000 annually
- Commission: 5% on one-time sales and 10% on reoccurring sales
