We are seeking an Industrial Engineer to support lean manufacturing and process improvement efforts within our Cleveland operations. This role is highly hands-on and shop-floor focused, with responsibility for executing lean and industrial engineering projects, supporting new product introductions, and ensuring smooth transitions from Engineering to Manufacturing. This position will also play a key role in supporting external contract manufacturers, including process development, documentation, and supplier collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute lean manufacturing and industrial engineering projects on the shop floor
• Own and manage manufacturing documentation, including MBOMs, routings, work instructions, and certifications, and ensure accurate release into ERP/PLM systems
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by developing manufacturing processes, supporting launch readiness, and driving design-for-manufacturability improvements
• Provide input on product design changes to improve manufacturability, quality, and cost
• Work closely with internal engineering, operations, and quality teams to support production needs
• Collaborate with suppliers and contract manufacturers to communicate technical requirements and support process development
• Participate in and support supplier audits as needed
• Apply lean principles to blue-collar and shop-floor processes

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or related discipline)
• 3+ years of relevant industrial engineering or manufacturing experience
• Hands-on experience executing lean manufacturing or process improvement projects
• Working knowledge of ERP and PLM systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt)
• Experience supporting NPI or manufacturing transfers
• Prior experience working with contract manufacturers or suppliers
