Import/Export Coordinator to join our
Delavan, WI team. You will be responsible for the movement of material out of the country in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Prepares export documents in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Duties will be to assist the distribution team in completing the daily allocation of Intercompany & International sales orders ensuring that we are fulfilling customer orders. Researches and analyses freight costs. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
You will: - Allocate Intercompany & International sales orders from ERP system
- Coordinate with Customer Service department in the fulfillment of orders
- Prepare export documents in accordance with established procedures and trade laws & reconcile export issues
- Track and reconcile Intercompany & International sales orders released to the distribution floor
- Keeps export documents filed per record retention rules.
- Must work closely with GBU Logistics Manager communicating forwarder or carrier issues
- Responsible for the movement of material out of the country in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Attend various departmental meetings and work cross-functionally with shipping department
Key Qualifications: - Requires a minimum of 2 yrs experience in import/export coordination & documentation
- 3-4 years SAP ERP System experience required
- Acknowledge and understanding of compliance requirements
- Ability to make decisions and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is required
- General knowledge of the distribution department and products is a plus
- Must be self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy
- Must communicate clearly and in a professional manner
Compensation: The hourly pay for this role is:
$23.00 - $25.00/hr . DOE. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
Shift/Hours: - 1st Shift: 7:00am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday, flexible hybrid schedule
