Lathrop R-II Schools is taking applications for a head cook position in the high school building for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.



Job Summary:
The Head Cook is responsible for preparing and serving food items to students and/or school personnel in an efficient manner, and maintaining the food service facilities in safe and sanitary condition.



Job Duties
Prepares and cooks nutritious and attractive meals according to recipe directions.
Keeps the equipment and station neat, clean and organized; adheres to all kitchen sanitation policies and procedures.
Properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures.
Interacts positively with team, staff members, students and guests.



Requirements
Ability to push/pull, lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
Must pass a pre-employment background check.



Hours & Salary
Tuesday through Friday (28 hours per week)
Daily shift of 7 hours, between 6:30 am and 1:30 pm
Starting pay rate is $12.60 per hour
