Would you like to put your human resource knowledge to the test? Would you like to gain work experience in your field of study? The National Cart Company HR Department is currently seeking an Intern to work 20 to 25 hours (flexible with school schedule) per week at our facility.

Position can start immediately.

Requirements:

• Currently attending college/university to obtain human resource certification.
• Excellent computer skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel in a Microsoft Windows.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• General knowledge of various employment laws
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Must be able to gather and analyze information and have a high attention to detail.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.

Responsibility for:

• Assists with Associate orientation, development, training logistics, and recordkeeping.
• Assists with the paperwork involved in new hire orientation and terminating Associates.
• Helps maintain associate files and the Human Resource filing.
• Assists with the implementation and tracking of company safety and health programs
• Assists with benefit orientations
• Helps with recruiting efforts.
• Assist with employee engagement activities such as touch base program and employee recognition
