Four Winds Hospital, a leading provider of psychiatric inpatient services that treats children adolescents and adults, is seeking a hospital administrator. The Hospital Administrator, working closely with the CEO, plans, organizes, and directs operations at the Katonah location in Northern Westchester County.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to federal and state healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Communicate with and develop staff members, and building consensus for programs and goals that support the hospital.
  • Articulate a short-term strategic vision for areas of responsibility.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of service contracts and develop strategies for cost savings.
  • Provide support and work closely with physicians, administrative and support personnel to ensure operational concerns are continuously identified and addressed.
  • Develop and monitor strategic operating goals, objectives and budget; reports operational performance, justification and/or corrective action.
  • Develop and implements operations-related program to enhance patient and employee satisfaction and safety.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 8-12 years of relevant experience and 7+ years of leadership / management experience, required.
  • Prior hospital operations experience, preferred.


The salary range for this position is $105,000 - $140,000/year
