Job Description

The installation technician is an experience incumbent who proficiently installs the finished countertop product into the customer’s home. The Installation technician ensures countertop installations are completed safely and free of defects. The Installation Technician confirms that the installation meets or exceeds the homeowners’ expectations aesthetically and functionally. • Maintain profession manner; provide exceptional customer service
• Keeps work truck clean and organized
• Performs installation inspections
• Monitors installation needs and adjust work to be accomplished according to available skill sets
• Installs job specific material following installation specification
• Diagnoses job/project issues and propose solutions
• Repairs simple, cosmetic, surface defects
• Unloads/moves stone tops from truck into home; enlist assistance when larger stone pieces are carried into the home

• Precious stonework experience
• Have good math and reading skills
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Possess good spatial intelligence, good logic, and problem-solving skills
• Have good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Good knowledge of stone and solid surface materials
• Safety focused on around tools and equipment
• Self-directed and can work well independently and with little supervision
• Effectively priorities work and possesses good time management skills
• Highly motivated and goal oriented
• Able to stand, stoop and bend for long periods of time and be able to lift 70 pounds
• Must have current valid driver's license
• Good personal hygiene
