Responsibilities of the Inventory Cycle Counter:
The Cycle Counter position involves managing inventory accuracy through systematic cycle counting and auditing processes
The role is crucial for ensuring that inventory discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly, supporting the overall logistics and operational efficiency of the warehouse
involves collaboration with the Inventory Manager and other team members to uphold safety and compliance standards
Accurate reporting of inventory accuracy
Perform Root Cause Analysis for inventory discrepancies
Conduct audits of various inventory-related functions
Report issues and variances in inventory counts
Cycle count locations in a sequential order as assigned by the Inventory Manager
Reset product found in the wrong location during cycle counts
Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies found during audits
Record discrepancies on logs and communicate them to the Inventory Control Manager
Randomly audit daily receipts for put-away location accuracy
Audit sales orders and transfers for adherence to Best Practices
Assist in semi-annual and annual Physical Inventory activities
Support safety and compliance policies and programs
Qualifications for Warehouse Inventory Cycle Counter
High School diploma or GED required
Must be trained and certified in the safe and efficient operation of Forklifts, Walkie-Riders, and Stand-ups
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
Detail-oriented with the ability to follow directions accurately
Proficient in using scanners and RF equipment
Computer literate, including use of email
Experience in warehouse management or inventory control
Ability to work flexible hours
