As a Forklift Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of forklifts and other material-handling equipment. Your expertise will ensure that our operations run smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance & Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on various types of forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Diagnostics: Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
- Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections to ensure equipment is in good working order and compliant with safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in forklift mechanics or a similar role.
- Certification: Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, ASE) are a plus.
- Skills: Strong diagnostic skills and mechanical aptitude; ability to work with various types of forklifts and related equipment.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and internal combustion engines.
- Tools: Own a set of basic hand tools.
- Safety: Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with a variety of forklift brands and models.
- Previous experience in a high-paced industrial or manufacturing environment.
