+ Nature of WorkThe City of Minot is accepting applications for the entry-level position of FIREFIGHTER. This is a full time, nonexempt civil service position. This is skilled fire suppression and emergency response work involving responding to citizen calls for emergency assistance due to fires and other crisis situations; operates fire suppression equipment. Applicants must complete the written firefighter exam, complete a job-related physical agility and fitness test, oral interviews, background investigation, and post-offer medical exam. Firefighter testing will take place on Friday, October 24th, 2025
beginning at 9:00 AM. Physical Agility Testing immediately follows written exam. First round interviews will occur on same day Friday, October 24th, 2025.
