Job Description

AFIMAC Canada is actively hiring experienced General Labourers/Factory Workers for an upcoming assignment in Central Ontario. There are multiple roles and training will be provided for all positions.

This position will require you to work 12 hour shifts, 5 days per week when assigned to a project.

You will earn:

• $25 per hour before overtime
• $30 per day non-taxed meal allowance (when lodging is required)
• Paid Travel (up to 4 hours)
• Hotel Accommodations Provided (when required)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Rack various parts for production
• Operate sub-assembly machinery
• Quality control
• Other duties as assigned
• Pack parts in containers and stack onto skids
• Housekeeping duties as required for a safe work environment
• Familiarity with Automotive environment

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 years experience in manufacturing environment
• Ability to operate a jib boom hoist (preferred)
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Physically able to bend, lift, stand and reach
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision as well as part of a team
• Basic computer skills
• Fluent command of the English language (both written and verbal)
