Our client, a leader in the logistics industry, is seeking an Equipment Operator I to join their team. As an Equipment Operator I, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting efficient order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Equipment Operator I

Location: Carol Stream, IL

Pay Range: $16.29 per hour

Shift: Sunday thru Thursday, 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM

What's the Job?

• Hand select orders within various warehouse environments, including dry, cooler, and freezer.
• Operate assigned Sysco Order Selection (SOS) unit to create and correctly place labels on products.
• Stack products on pallets following proper selecting procedures to ensure safe transport.
• Engage an electric pallet jack or forklift to transport products efficiently.
• Adhere to sanitation and safety requirements while maintaining all assigned equipment.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent.
• 12 months of warehouse experience preferred.
• 12 months of experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift preferred.
• Ability to meet or exceed minimum efficiency levels established through an engineered production standard.
• Submit to pre-employment testing (Drug Screening, Background Check, Physical Abilities Test).
