Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and research sector, is seeking a dedicated Environmental Cleaning Specialist to join their team. As an Environmental Cleaning Specialist, you will be an essential part of the facility support team, ensuring a clean, safe, and compliant environment that supports critical research and manufacturing activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Environmental Cleaning Specialist

Location: Abbott Park, IL

Pay Range:

Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

What's the Job?

• Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and floor buffing using specialized equipment.
• Support production and research environments by executing regulated cleaning procedures in laboratories and support areas.
• Maintain adherence to quality and regulatory standards such as GMPs, SOPs, OSHA, and Abbott standards.
• Ensure cleanliness of common support areas such as lavatories, offices, and break rooms.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and compliant environment for all facility operations.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Entry-level cleaning experience preferred; candidates with hospital, cleanroom, or environmental cleaning backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work in a structured environment with adherence to strict standards.
