Job Description

Established industrial mechanical insulation company seeking industrial pipe insulators. The employee would be responsible for helping with cutting and fitting insulation for pipes and equipment. Mechanical experience preferred. 

Not looking for traveling workers. Local is preferred. 

Salary:

• Starting Pay commensurate with experience


• Entry Level Starting Pay $20 per hour

Position key duties:

• Fabricating and installing insulation and industrial settings


• Take precise measurements, cut, fit and install insulation and other components such as vapor barrier, metal or PVC jackets, banding etc.


• Maintain and operate equipment such as safety equipment, beader crimper, bending brake, banding tools and other hand and power tools


• Maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment as a member of our team


• Conduct quality checks to verify the integrity and effectiveness of insulation installations


•  Work closely with others in a team environment

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of two years of mechanical insulator experience preferred but willing to train 


• General knowledge of installation methods and types of insulation systems


• Skilled at cutting, fitting and installing industrial insulation.


• Pre-employment drug screening


• Overtime and occasional travel


• Valid Drivers License


• Ability to work up to 12 hours and occasional off shifts


• Ability to follow instructions and maintain excellent communication skills


• Ability to safely climb and use ladders and work at heights with provided safety equipment


• Ability to work in varying industrial environments including hot and cold and lift 75 Lbs.


• Ability to lift up to 75 Lbs.


• Minimum 10 Hr. OSHA certification preferred but will train


• Certification for scissor and boom lifts preferred but will train
