Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Endocrinologist to join their growing multispecialty group. Responsibilities - Outpatient-focused role within a supportive, multispecialty group
- Diverse patient population and full scope endocrinology practice
- Access to integrated diabetes care services including Certified Diabetes Educators and Registered Dietitians
- Call responsibilities shared among team members (approximately 1 in 6 weeks)
- Opportunities to engage in population health initiatives and clinical education
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including physical exams and diagnostic testing
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of endocrine disorders, with a particular emphasis on diabetes, thyroid, and metabolic conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe and monitor medication regimens
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic medical records
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary care teams
- Promote preventive health strategies and chronic disease management
- Participate in ongoing medical education and practice improvement efforts
Requirements - MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology fellowship
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology
- Active, unrestricted New York State medical license (or eligibility)
- DEA registration (or eligibility)
- Medicare/Medicaid enrollment (or eligibility)
- Current BLS or ACLS certification
- Strong clinical acumen and communication skills
- EMR proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- 13 years of outpatient endocrinology practice experience
- Commitment to quality improvement and population health management
- Demonstrated ability to deliver empathetic, relationship-centered care
