Job Description

Victoria Emergency Associates (VEA) is seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine physician to join their team at DeTar Hospital Navarro in Victoria, Texas. This is a large, state-of-the-art 189-bed facility with a Level III Trauma Center and 22-beds dedicated to the ER. You will be joining a highly experienced, multi-specialty team in a role that requires previous ER experience as well as comfort with working in a fast-paced environment. Join VEA and be part of a highly dedicated and world-class team of EM professionals serving the beautiful Southern Texas community of Victoria. **Position Details & Benefits:** + Full-time position, 120 hours/month, 7 am - 7 pm, 7 pm - 7 am + Fast-paced environment + Highly collegial and supportive team + Option to enroll in health, dental, and vision insurance plans + Housing perks available based on location **Qualifications & Requirements:** + Board-certified/board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (MD/DO) + Experience post residency is highly preferred, but new graduates with significant ER background will be considered + ACLS, PALS, ATLS (not required for BC/EM) + Spanish fluency preferred **Where You'll Work** DeTar Hospital Navarro and DeTar Hospital North have modern acute care facilities offering a range of inpatient and outpatient services.
