SUMMARY

We are looking for a commercial Elevator Mechanic who will be responsible for the service and repair of commercial elevators.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Servicing and repairing commercial and home elevators : Able to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical parts Timely completion of assigned preventative maintenance Daily closing of assigned tickets with accurate information. Communication on elevator status with on-site personnel. Understanding the use of PPE and all safety rules Understanding of wiring diagrams Must be able to pass a driving screen to be insured to drive a company vehicle. Elevator Mechanic Requirements : High school diploma or GED. Elevator Mechanic License preferred or willingness to get licensed Previous work experience as an elevator mechanic. Advanced knowledge of elevator systems, mechanical walkways, and escalators. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions. Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects. Ability to travel and work after hours when required.
