General

We are seeking a dedicated Ramp/Aircraft Mechanic Assistant to support our aircraft maintenance and ground operations team. The ideal candidate will assist mechanics with repairs, inspections and servicing aircraft while ensuring compliance with safety and operational procedures. This role requires attention to detail, ambition and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist aircraft mechanics in performing routine maintenance, inspections and repairs.
• Transport tools, equipment, and parts to work areas needed.
• Conduct basic servicing tasks such as oil changes, tire pressure checks, and fluid refills.
• Help with aircraft towing, parking and securing operations on the ramp.
• Perform cleaning and upkeep of aircraft, tools, and workspaces.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations while working around aircraft.
• Load and unload baggage, cargo, and equipment as required.
• Operate ground support equipment (GSE) such as tugs, belt loaders, and deicing equipment under supervision.
• Report any discrepancies, malfunctions, or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow all company policies and FAA regulations related to aircraft maintenance and ramp operations.

Qualification Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.  
• Valid Driver’s license; ability to obtain airport security clearance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
• Strong Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Able to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• In progress or interest in pursuing an FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P). (preferred)
• Experience with ground support. (preferred)
• Prior experience in an aviation-related role. (preferred)
