Job Description

Clayton Services is searching for a Driver/Warehouse Associate to join a thriving company in Central Houston. The Driver/Warehouse Associate will be responsible for the daily operational process in the warehouse for both inbound and outbound shipments.

Job Type: Direct Hire

Pay Rate: $18-$22/hour

Driver/Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:

Drive trucks and forklifts

Receive, store, and dispatch goods in the warehouse

Ensure orders are shipped to customers on time and without damage while keeping the supply chain running smoothly

Maintain high service standards toward customers

Communicate with the team and warehouse supervisor to adjust and correct issues for the day-to-day operations

Assist with the loading and unloading of tracks and/or containers

Moving and storing the shipments in the correct warehouse area

Report daily the arrival of dangerous goods shipments on the designated document

Follow up on the daily outbound planning and preparing the outbound shipments for further loading

Pick, and pack packages, work on the platform for export documents and labels, and prepare the shipment by palletizing when needed

Uploading inbound and outbound pictures

Move pallets using a forklift

Clean and maintain warehouse equipment

Other duties as assigned

Driver/Warehouse Associate Skills and Abilities:

Excellent communication skills

Excellent time management skills

Excellent organization skills

Ability to successfully work in a fast-paced environment

Basic math and computer skills

Driver/Warehouse Associate Education and Experience:

A minimum of a high school diploma is required.

Previous experience as a warehouse associate and driver is required

Previous experience in shipping and receiving is a plus.

Must have a valid Driver License and clean driving record.
