How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Division IT Director will provide essential administrative direction and support for the Division IT department, overseeing daily operational activities, and driving the implementation of policies and goals that align with the Division's IT needs. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the Division IT infrastructure while managing the IT budget. Collaborating with Division and Region leadership teams, you will ensure effective IT service delivery and support for day-to-day operations and future initiatives.
  • Lead and manage the Division IT staff, including recruitment, performance management, mentoring, and career development to foster a highly productive and cohesive team.
  • Prioritize, assign, and oversee Division IT activities and projects in alignment with organizational goals and objectives, adjusting resources as needed for efficiency.
  • Oversee systems administration, computer installations, upgrades, security, troubleshooting, capacity planning, and vendor management to ensure seamless IT operations.
  • Develop strong working relationships with Division and Region senior management teams, understanding and addressing their IT needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Airgas Central Help Desk (level I support) and the IT Security & Network teams (Level 3) to execute projects and implement best IT practices.
  • Create, maintain, and communicate computing standards, procedures, and policies while ensuring technical documentation and standard operating procedures are up-to-date.
  • Manage hardware and software procurement, vendor relationships, and related service contracts.
  • Establish service levels for internal customers and monitor service delivery to meet agreed-upon targets and standards.
  • Conduct regular meetings with Division end users and management to gather feedback and identify IT needs.
  • Prepare and manage the Division IT budget.
  • Provide periodic reports to senior management such as Quarterly Business Review.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and technologies through continuous personal development and education.
Are you a MATCH?
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related IT field.
  • 5+ years of prior experience in an IT Leadership role, including IT Project Management and third-party vendor management.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and ERP software (e.g., SAP)
  • 3-5 years of IT project management experience.
  • 3-5 years of third-party vendor management and contract negotiation experience.

  • Up to 10% domestic travel may be required.
