Digital Marketing Specialist

Team up with us! The Digital Marketing Specialist position is responsible for creative and strategic contributions to digital marketing initiatives with a focus on generating leads and interest in company products, services, and events while building and maintaining our brands. This role helps implement and execute campaigns across social media, email marketing, company websites, and in-store digital displays, evaluating and monitoring campaign delivery and performance, as well as reporting and providing metrics and analytics that demonstrate campaign fulfillment and effectiveness.

What you'll do:

  • Work with internal customers and the Marketing team to understand objectives and assist with developing creative digital communications and strategies that consistently represent our brands and values with a focus on driving results.
  • Implement multi-channel marketing campaigns that may include social media, email marketing, landing pages, and in-store digital displays.
  • Develop engaging content for social media channels, schedule posts, set up ad campaigns, monitor community engagement, and respond to messages.
  • Build and schedule email marketing communications and campaigns.
  • Update content as directed on company websites, company intranet, and in-store digital displays.
  • Assist with monitoring and reporting on digital campaign performance, metrics, and analytics, contributing post-campaign analysis with insights and success stories for internal stakeholders.
  • Provide insights, evaluations, and recommendations for continuous improvement of future digital marketing campaigns and brand reputation management.
  • Research and analyze customer demographic information for insights to make informed, strategic recommendations.
  • Map and analyze the customer journey to enhance engagement and optimize touch points across all digital platforms.
  • Build strong relationships through excellent communication, positive attitude, and trustworthy behavior.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
  • Other duties as required.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, digital marketing, or related field and two to five years of relevant experience in marketing, sales, demand generation, or lead generation role.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing trends, marketing automation, and tools for social media, websites, SEM, SEO, email marketing, and digital displays.
  • Experience with using Salesforce CRM tools, including Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly Pardot) as well as customer journey mapping experience.
  • Proficient in the use of social media platforms, major web browsers, Google Analytics, reputation management, and email marketing tools.
  • Knowledge and expertise to ensure accurate digital marketing campaign set up, execution, and reporting.
  • Experience with relevant analytics tools for campaign performance reporting across social, web, email, and other digital marketing channels.
  • Strong computer skills for accessing and extracting digital marketing analytic data.
  • Experience with WordPress CMS for website content management.
  • Preferred Experience: Basic knowledge of HTML, basic Adobe Photoshop skills for simple editing, experience with digital signage applications.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a high degree of self-motivation, organizational and time-management skills, and a strong work ethic.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-project and dynamic environment, completing projects on time with a strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness and ability to learn, share ideas, and clearly articulate perspectives on digital marketing industry trends and topics.
  • Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills.
