The Digital Marketing Specialist at Great Waters Financial brings energy, creativity, and initiative to our brand's digital presence. This role is for a doer, someone who thrives on capturing moments, creating content on the fly, and keeping our digital channels fresh and engaging. The Digital Marketing Specialist supports the marketing team through quick-turn video and photo creation, design assistance, content publishing, event coverage, and digital advertising production. This person helps us connect authentically with our audience by turning ideas into action quickly and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Capture, edit, and publish video and photo content for social media and digital platforms.
  • Manage and update website, blog, and social content, ensuring timeliness and consistency with brand standards.
  • Provide design support for digital and print assets using established brand templates and guidelines.
  • Assist with writing clear, engaging copy for posts, emails, and ads that reflect our voice and values.
  • Create and launch digital ad content (Meta, Google, YouTube, etc.) in coordination with the marketing team.
  • Support event marketing through onsite coverage, capturing photos and video clips for live and post-event use.
  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and execute creative ideas that move quickly from concept to publish.
  • Maintain organized workflows, content libraries, and publishing schedules.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering for printed and physical materials
Requirements:
  • 3–5+ years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, or social media management.
  • Strong skills in photography (mobile & pro-grade), videography, and editing apps such as CapCut, Canva, Lightroom, or Premiere.
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms, their tools, and best practices for engagement and growth.
  • Excellent written communication and attention to visual detail.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with shifting priorities.
  • Basic understanding of digital ad platforms including Meta, Google, and YouTube.
  • Preferred but not required: Audio/Visual support for in-person and virtual events.

Working Expectations

  • In-office position with flexibility for on-location content capture and event support.
  • Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required for events or timely content opportunities.
  • Travel may be required for regional events or video shoots.

The salary range for this role is $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 annually. In addition, Great Waters offers employees a 401k plan with an employer matching schedule, Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, 10 paid company Holidays, an annual wellness stipend, and paid-time off. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus driven by organization and individual performance.
