divh2Curriculum Specialist/h2pPosition: Curriculum Specialist/ppLocation: Virginia Beach, VA (On-Site/Office)/ppClearance: Secret/ppResponsibilities include (but are not limited to):/pulliAssist in developing, maintaining and modernizing all matters involving Unit Level Training./liliThis position requires prior military or civilian background with sound knowledge of Naval Education and Training Command (NETC) systems, processes and certification requirements./liliAssist with the oversight of the maintenance and administration of existing curricula./liliEnsure all curriculum development/revision/modification is coordinated with the appropriate staff./liliAssist with developing new curricula and perform training material revisions and modifications to existing curricula. Involve the LSO in all phases of curriculum development and maintenance./liliInform the Curriculum Control Authority (CCA) of developments or setbacks that may impact projected goals and milestones./liliEnsure all training material is available for access by the curriculum development team and the Course Supervisors. Training materials include lesson plans/instructor guides, trainee guides, tests, instructional media material (IMM), etc. The use of electronic media for distribution of training materials is highly recommended./liliEnsure a master copy of all training materials is maintained in the courses Master Training Plan (MTP), to contain the last approved TPP, Letter of Promulgation, Course Outline of Instruction (COI), Training Course Control Document (TCCD), two previous Formal Course Reviews (FCRs), and the approved Testing Plan./liliAssist to coordinate the scheduling of FCRs and publish an annual schedule. Provide a copy of the schedule to the Director of Training./liliInstructors under his/her cognizance are utilizing the most up-to-date Curriculum materials./liliProvide input to curriculum management personnel to ensure currency of the information in the Master Record/li/ulpQualifications:/pulliMust possess a minimum of ten years experience within the last fifteen years in a Course Curriculum Model Manager role./liliMust possess a masters degree in a related discipline with a strong emphasis in writing./li/ulpGroup ID: 10474224/p/div
