Our law firm is looking for an attorney who is ready to represent our existing client base. The ideal candidate will work closely with the firm’s clients, administrative staff, and senior partners. Compensation:

$110,000 - $175,000 yearly

• Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs
• Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients’ needs after analysis
• Appear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings
• Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff
• Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence

• Represent clients in a range of criminal defense cases, including misdemeanors and felonies.
• Conduct legal research, draft motions, and prepare for court appearances.
• Work closely with our team of experienced attorneys and support staff in a collaborative setting.
• Maintain strong communication with clients, ensuring they feel informed and supported throughout the legal process.
• Participate in firm initiatives and professional development opportunities.

• Public speaking, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role
• Jobseekers should be a member of their local bar association - active member preferred Association
• Successful completion of accredited law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree with 2 years of related experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary
• Strong knowledge of legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis products is required

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission in NJ; admission to NY/PA is a plus.
• 3–6 years of experience in criminal defense.
• Strong legal research, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills.
• A team player with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
• Excellent organizational and client communication skills.
