Job Description and Duties

The Crime Analyst II (CA II) is responsible for the collecting, analyzing, and disseminating of complex criminal intelligence information related to approximately 75 chemical companies involving the issuance of a Controlled Chemical Substance Permit as mandated under Health & Safety Code sections 11100 through 11107.1. The CA II provides advanced analytical support to the Clandestine Lab Program by performing the more difficult duties in collation, evaluation, and analysis of criminal intelligence information.

Special Requirements

• The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired.

Please note, all new to state employees will be given the minimum salary of the classification. For current state employees, and/or those with reinstatement rights, your salary will be determined in accordance with the applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
