About the job Crane Operator Crane OperatorKey Responsibilities:Responsible for operating an overhead crane to lift, move, position, reposition materials.Load and unload trailers, and/or railroad cars. Log and report inventory location changes according to specified procedure into inventory computer system and/or by paperwork. Log and tag inventory received according to specified procedure.Assemble customer orders according to work orders.Requirements and Qualifications: Experience in the steel/metal processing, manufacturing, pipe yard industry (preferred).Overhead Crane Operator experience required (over 20 tons required, over 45 tons a bonus)Safety sensitive; Maintain compliance with all safety requirements, policies, and procedures.motivating positive attitudeDependable and consistent attendance/punctuality. Reliable transportation to and from work. Ability to work overtime and weekends as assigned. Solid level of experience in remote overhead crane operations, be physically able to work at a fast pace while maintaining an eye for detail and have a proven track record of employment history.Pipe Yard environment - must be able to work in all-weather elements.
