Join Our Pediatric Rehab Team as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Dayshift

Location: 625 West Edwin Street, Williamsport, PA
Schedule: Full-Time, Dayshift
Travel: Occasional travel to local schools or Early Intervention sites

Are you passionate about helping children thrive? We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate COTA to join our Pediatric Rehab Clinic team. This role offers a dynamic mix of settings, including outpatient care, school-based therapy, and Early Intervention services.

What You’ll Do:
\n
As a vital part of our therapy team, you’ll work under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality care that makes a real difference in the lives of children and families. Your responsibilities will include:
\n
\n - Delivering therapeutic interventions based on individualized treatment plans
\n - Supporting children across pediatric, adolescent, and occasionally adult populations
\n - Documenting patient progress and treatment outcomes with accuracy and timeliness
\n - Collaborating with therapists and educators in school and Early Intervention settings
\n - Participating in team meetings, in-service training, and departmental initiatives
\n - Administering standardized assessments and reporting results
\n - Ensuring compliance with state Occupational Therapy Practice Acts
\n
\n
What We’re Looking For:

\n - Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)with active state licensure
\n - Experience or interest in pediatric therapy preferred
\n - Strong communication and documentation skills
\n - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
\n - Flexibility to travel locally as needed

✅ Qualifications:
\n
\n - Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)with an Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistance.
\n - Demonstrated knowledge of:
\n \n - Quality customer service principles
\n - Normal human growth and development across the lifespan
\n - Medical record documentation and interpretation
\n
\n - Strong skills in:
\n \n - Planning and organization
\n - Problem-solving and strategic thinking
\n - Follow-up and control

\n - Ability to:

\n \n - All mandatory system, business unit, and facility competencies
\n - CRS Orientation, Facility-specific Orientation, and Department-specific Orientation(s)

\n - May work in areas where medications are stored; no direct contact with medications is permitted
\n
\n \n
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
\n
\n - Licensed or eligible for licensure in the practicing state
\n - National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)certification
\n - CPR certification required within 30 days of hire, based on AHA standards (must include both didactic and skills demonstration components)
\n
\n
\n - Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
\n - National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
\n - Occupational Therapy Assistant
