Job Details
Position Overview:
The Controller will oversee all financial activities of the company, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a proven ability to manage complex financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses for management and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with GAAP and other financial regulations.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage the company’s budget, including forecasting financial trends and providing insights for strategic planning.
Internal Controls: Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.
Accounting Operations: Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
Audit Management: Coordinate and support internal and external audits. Prepare necessary documentation and address audit findings.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Provide recommendations to enhance financial performance.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and reporting requirements.
