Job Description

We are looking for a motivated professional with a minimum of 3 years estimating experience in commercial painting and/or wallcovering who can accurately prepare bids, manage deadlines, and contribute to our continued success.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for commercial painting and wallcovering projects
• Perform material take-offs and calculate labor, material, and equipment costs
• Collaborate with project managers and leadership to ensure competitive and profitable bids
• Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors, vendors, and suppliers
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project walk-throughs as required
• Track bid results and assist with project turnover to operations team

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of commercial painting and/or wallcovering estimating experience (required)
• Strong knowledge of industry practices, materials, and installation methods
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications
• Experience with estimating software such as Planswift, OST, etc and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be within a short manageable commute to the office
