Position Summary

We are seeking three enthusiastic Commercial Account Executives to join the LS Networks team in our Willamette Oregon, Bend Oregon, and Pasco Washington geographic regions. The Commercial Account Executive builds business by identifying and selling prospects; maintaining relationships with clients in assigned geographic territories. This is a full-time, exempt position with a starting base salary of $54,500.00 - $75,200.00 (depending on experience), plus commission. The Commercial Account Executive must live within their assigned geographic territory, additionally, this is a field position; therefore, travel is required.

Essential Functions

Sales and Business Development:

  • Generate new business opportunities via cold calls, referrals, and lead generation; follow up on sales and marketing leads to close sales opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough lead/prospect qualification, ensuring proper identification of clients and projects.
  • Develop and maintain a 30/60/90-day sales pipeline to ensure a consistent flow of qualified prospects, driving production levels that meet or exceed monthly quotas.
  • Implement a prospecting strategy based on individual territory dynamics on a daily and weekly basis, in collaboration with sales leadership and the program.
  • Manage a territory using technology, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Build market position by working vertical markets, developing partnerships, and being visible in the business community.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Maintain relationships with clients and their contributing revenue base by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities.
  • Address questions and complaints in a timely manner to resolve problems, ensuring ongoing client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with technical, customer service, and support teams to manage the end-to-end customer journey, ensuring a comprehensive experience that drives sales, satisfaction, and new revenue growth through every interaction.

Strategy and Analysis:

  • Share competitive analysis with sales and marketing teams to inform strategy.
  • Design customized, cost-effective solutions for clients.
  • Leverage the CRM system (Salesforce) to develop prospecting and sales strategies that ensure high activity and effective closing ratios while keeping CRM updated.

Professional Development and Community Engagement:

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks to keep abreast of current technology trends.
  • Territory development to include building local business partnerships and organizational affiliations, enhancing LS Networks' positioning and brand.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Maintain open and effective lines of communication throughout the organization to foster a sense of teamwork, enthusiasm, pride, and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

Professional Experience:

  • Broad experience in sales and marketing, preferably in telecommunications
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends using Excel and other tools to inform sales strategies and decision-making
  • Proficient in using various software applications and mobile apps relevant to the position

Salesforce and Data Management Skills:

  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in Salesforce, including data entry, pipeline management, and reporting.
  • Utilize Salesforce to analyze sales trends, monitor progress against goals, and identify opportunities for improvement. Maintain accurate and up to date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and prospect information within Salesforce.
  • Generate and interpret Salesforce reports to provide actionable insights and improve sales performance.
  • Leveraged Salesforce automation tools to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure Salesforce best practices and system adaptation.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
  • Ability to create impactful proposals, quotes and presentations

Work Environment & Teamwork:

  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment, with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness

Community Engagement:

  • Preferred: strong ties to the community through volunteer experience, community collaboration, and cultural awareness, showcasing their commitment to enhancing local relationships and addressing community needs

Technical Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively operate mobile cell phones, tablets, and computers
  • Capacity to learn and adapt to new technologies and digital tools as needed for job functions
  • Must have access to reliable broadband internet, facilitating continuous communication and collaboration with team members and clients, and ensuring seamless participation in virtual meetings and online workflows
  • A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle with insurance to travel to client meetings, trade shows, and other external events

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) and 2+ years of related sales and/or customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Working Conditions

  • Frequent walking and standing for extended periods while engaging with clients and customers, both in-store and at various events or locations
  • Exposure to various weather conditions while engaging in field prospection of door-to-door sales activities, including rain, snow, heat, and smoke from wildfires
  • Lift and carry promotional materials and products weighing up to 25 pounds occasionally and assist in setting up displays or marketing materials at events
  • Work in an office environment, primarily seated at a desk, utilizing a computer for extended periods
