Expected Salary:

$25.00 to $36.00 per hour (2nd shift differential $2.00 per hour)

Brief Description

CNC Lathe Machinist experienced with Live Tooling. Works with little supervision. This position is in our Large Rod End Cell

Key Accountabilities

• Completes set-ups with minimal supervision/assistance.
• Responsible for all phases of part operation set-up to achieve first article acceptance.
• Perform and maintain accurate in-process quality inspection and records.

Desirable Experience and Capabilities

• At least five (5) years experience in operation set-up on CNC Lathe equipment.
• Multiple Turret and Multi-Axis’s experience, Y / B Axis a plus.
• Skilled in the use of indicator, gage, dial bores, and plate inspection methods for first article and in-process inspection of precision machined parts.
• Ability to maintain close tolerances (within .0005”) of ID’s, hold .0005 profile, roundness.
• Knowledge of cutting tools feeds, speeds, and inserts tool life for aerospace machining.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions and interpret blue print and quality requirements.
• Ability to communicate with employees and management in a positive manner.
• Ability to lift a maximum of 25 lbs. (over 25 lbs. with assistance).
• Ideal candidate will have experience with AS9100, 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma.
• Per ITAR requirements you must be a US Person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card Holder). This position is subject to policies and procedures set forth by the State Department and applicants who do not meet such requirements will not be eligible for the position.
