The CNA - PACE provides direct care and support to elderly participants under the supervision of nursing staff, assisting with mobility, personal hygiene, and preparing for medical exams. This role supports the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) in promoting active and independent living for older adults. The position requires Washington Nursing Assistant Certification, BLS certification, and experience working with frail, cognitively impaired seniors.
Description
Under the direction of the Nursing Services Manager, provides support services for the medical staff in the Clinic. Provides care in support of Participant satisfaction and retention. Assists Participants in such activities as walking, transfers, use of mobility devices, getting to and from restroom, toileting, changing incontinence products, and clothing. Responsible for preparing Participants for medical exam by Clinic MD and RNs.
