W.A. Petrakis Contracting operates across Western Pennsylvania and continues to grow. Services include installation of sewer/water & gas lines, directional drilling, hydro-vac excavating, pump stations & milling/paving restoration.

W.A. Petrakis Contracting is seeking a skilled and reliable CDL B/A Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the dump truck. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, as well as the ability to work in various construction environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a dump truck to transport materials such as millings, asphalt, and stone to designated locations on construction sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate material delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of materials transported, including load weights and delivery locations.
• Follow all safety regulations and protocols while on-site to protect yourself and others.

Skills :

• Proven experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy equipment within a construction environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is advantageous.
• Experience in backhoe operation or grader operation is a plus.
• Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is required for this position.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting while also being self-motivated.
• OSHA 10 required/OSHA 30 preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
