Job Description
Children's Ski School Cook This position is responsible for preparing meals for Ski School children and staff and carrying out daily operations as established by the Ski School Kitchen Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience working on a team in a kitchen environment and will be able to follow all food handling procedures to ensure a safe and quality product. We are looking for applicants who enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen while fostering a positive, fun and safe work environment.
Base Pay: $16/hr depending on experience

Required Certs or Licenses: Food Handler Cert (must have prior to first day of work)
Attendance: Regular, predictable, punctual, and in-person attendance is essential, includes weekends and holidays as scheduled
Estimated start date: Early December
Minimum Age: 18
Typical Shift: 7:30a-3:00pm
Employee Housing Link: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (other duties may be assigned) - Prepares and cooks food using fryers, ovens, stoves, grills, flat tops, and other kitchen equipment
- Provides friendly service to ski school children and instructors
- Follows prep duties and recipes to ensure consistency and quality in product
- Regularly cleans and sanitizes work station, maintains a clean and organized kitchen, and washes dishes.
- Works well on a team and takes direction from kitchen manager accordingly
- Upholds proper hygiene and sanitation practices.
Environment: This is an indoor position which includes working in a hot kitchen. Must be able to stand for entire shift and regularly lift/carry 75lbs.
Qualifications: Experience as a cook is essential.
Other: Orange, black, grey, or white long sleeve shirts are to be worn under the uniform (no t-shirts or other colors). Must provide own non-slip footwear.
