About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead its data security initiatives and drive innovation in this critical area. The successful candidate will be responsible for centralizing and elevating all data security controls, ensuring comprehensive coverage across data environments, and developing a cohesive and agile team of security professionals. This role demands a visionary leader with a strong technical background, deep understanding of data security, compliance frameworks, and cloud security. The CISO will also play an external-facing role, serving as a thought leader and educator to industry peers. Applicants for the CISO position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in information security, with at least 6 years in a senior leadership role. The role requires a candidate with excellent communication and presentation skills, a proven track record of driving growth and innovation in security-focused roles, and the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. A strong technical knowledge of data security architectures, AI-driven security tools, risk management, and regulatory compliance is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience in or with early-stage startups in the security or data security industry, particularly in SaaS environments, and an entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for mentoring and developing team members.
