Overview of the Position:

Job Title: Certified Nurse Midwife

Location: Queen Creek, AZ

Hours & Schedule: Full-Time

Salary / Hourly Rate: $110k - $140k / year

Bonus Offered: RVU

Job Summary:

The Certified Nurse Midwife will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to women throughout their lifespan, with a focus on reproductive health, prenatal care, childbirth, and postpartum recovery. This role emphasizes a team-based approach to deliver comprehensive healthcare, including preventive services, education, and counseling.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide a wide range of healthcare services, including prenatal and postnatal care, gynecological exams, newborn care, and childbirth assistance.
  • Perform routine tests to monitor the health of expectant mothers and their babies.
  • Administer preventive health services, including immunizations and screenings.
  • Educate and counsel patients on wellness, disease prevention, and reproductive health.
  • Assist women in labor and delivery, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and baby.
  • Document patient medical histories and develop detailed treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, physicians, and healthcare professionals as needed to provide holistic care.
  • Provide dietary, exercise, and sleep guidance to expectant mothers.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with regulatory standards and under appropriate supervision.
  • Participate in health promotion activities, community outreach, and professional development initiatives.

Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements:

  • Completion of a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) Program in the United States (excluding Puerto Rico).
  • Arizona State License (or eligibility to obtain).
