Summary:

A large University health system located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is seeking a skilled and dependable BMET II to join their Clinical Engineering team. This individual will serve as an anchor for the department, providing both technical support and leadership to junior team members. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biomedical equipment maintenance, particularly with OR environments, and experience with systems from Nihon Kohden, GE, or Philips.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of biomedical equipment.
• Serve as a lead technician, supporting and training junior BMETs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure optimal equipment performance and availability.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

Qualifications:

• 5–6 years of experience as a BMET I or II.
• Experience with OR equipment is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Nihon Kohden, GE, or Philips systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven dependability and ability to work with diverse populations.

Additional Info:

• Desktop/PC equipment will be provided.
• Candidates must be willing to work onsite daily.

Location: Downtown, Philadelphia, PA

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type : 6-Month Contract (Potential for Extension)

Onsite Requirement: Full-time onsite (candidates from any state welcome)
